As times continue to change and advancements continue to be made, it is vital that school leaders are able to keep up with evolution of technology and adapt the school learning environment in order to provide a high quality education. Below, you will find examples of how I have utilized technology in an education setting as both a teacher and school leader.

Social Media Development

During my principalship, the founder of PSAT Academy reached out to me about extending PSAT Academy to a Tampa location. I developed a social media platform for PSAT Academy Tampa to begin recruiting students and teachers.

K12 Learning Platform

While teaching at PSAT Academy, I utilized the K12 Learning platform for virtual instructional resources and assignments.

Brilliant Learning Platform

While teaching at PSAT Academy, I utilized the Brilliant Learning platform to provide challenging math assignments for students who were gifted or required enrichment.

iReady Diagnostics

While teaching at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School, we utilized the iReady diagnostic assessments to monitor student learning and growth throughout the school year.

Dreambox Learning

While teaching at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School, we utilized the Dreambox Learning platform for center rotations, specifically for students in Tier II.

Skyward Portal

While teaching at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School, we utilized Skyward as our main portal to house student data, grades, and record information.

Generation Genius

While teaching at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School, we utilized Generation Genius for exciting videos and resources to keep students engaged in math and science content.

Canva

In all of my teaching and leadership positions, I have utilized Canva as my main resource for creative displays such as newsletters, flyers, classroom decorations, and calendars.

Microsoft Teams

While teaching at PSAT Academy, we utilized Microsoft Teams as the hub for all virtual classrooms, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.

Webex

While teaching at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School, we utilized Webex as our virtual platform for parent-teacher conferences and staff meetings.

Adobe Scan

While teaching and completing the M.Ed. Educational Leadership program, I utilized the Adobe Scan app to send, receive, edit, sign, and upload pdf documents.

Google Classroom

While teaching at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School, we utilized Google Classroom to house all of our student assignments, upload supplemental resources, and communicate with parents.
